The basic level familiarises the pupil with a generic understanding of the subject and they are forth ready to notch up their skills by guided demos or references.

The intermediate level readies the pupil to be able to further pursue the subject with little or no guidance.

The advance level imbibes deep level of understanding of the subject and appreciation of related concepts, theories, standards or otherwise relevant trends. It further enables them to be able to master the subject by themselves without much guidance and prepares them to use the gathered knowledge professionally.

Beyond the technical skill levels, certain courses primarily focus on inciting creative thought process or otherwise incite creative thinking. These are classified under creative skill development.
